How to join

Often interest is sparked by applicants meeting other members of Argosy in a social setting. Thereafter applicants who are interested in joining are welcome to complete an application (Form M) which is then proposed and seconded by existing members of the lodge.

You’ll then be invited to meet the committee to discuss your application and to answer any questions you may have. Candidates suitability must be endorsed by the committee in order for the application to proceed.

From there, tour application will be presented to a Lodge Meeting, and this can usually take up to 6 months. A secret ballot will be conducted in which all Members vote on your suitability. You will be notified of the result and if successful invited to attend a Lodge Meeting for your initiation into Membership.
